In addition to our digital photo restorations as displayed on our Minor, Moderate, and Severe restoration category example pages, we offer a variety of digital photo retouching services. We can remove or add people in a group photograph or remove that annoying light pole from the middle of the picture. Lighten, darken, straighten, change, correct or add color to the photograph. Digitally enhance that almost perfect photograph and turn it into a glamour shot.

This "Additional Service" category also would include the removal of slight cracks, creases, or tears in the edge of the photograph, but usually does not include repairs to major areas of the photograph.

Colorizing and Photo Retouching Service

Below is an example of colorizing. In this photo we were told what the hair and house colors were but the client could not remember the color of the clothes the boys wore (so we checked catalogs, newspapers, and magazine advertisements from the 40's) and hopefully came up with a close guess.  We cropped the photo, slightly, and removed the photographers shadow.

Instead of colorizing the whole photograph, you may want to only accent a particular object or tint the photograph, change it from black and white to sepia (to make it appear older) or make use of our photo services to change a full color or sepia photograph to black and white. Our photo retouching services offer endless possibilities.

Removing an Individual

The restored photo to the right was in pretty good shape and only needed minor retouching and to remove the gentleman from the picture. In this project we "painted" the person out and reconstructed the background, flowers, table, and floor.

Remove, Add, and Change Backgrounds

This photo required our minor digital photo retouching service to remove the background and clean up the photograph. Our restoration service was then used to restore and enhance the slight color shift of the original photograph and re-centered the image. There were many ways this photograph could have been handled.

We could have replaced the background with an outdoor scene, added a magazine or newspaper theme to the background, added more people, or change the color. If you can imagine it, we can do it.

Individual Portrait Creation

The project below required brightness and contrast correction, stain removal, correction of blotchy skin on some of the subjects, and repair of scratch and dust damage. Upon completion, we extracted the man in the center to make an individual oval portrait.
